3M™ Hookit™ Purple Finishing Film Disc 260L is comprised of high performance aluminum oxide which cuts fast, lasts a long time, resists loading and leaves a consistent finish. It is designed for use with a soft interface pad to scuff sand before painting, or use them to remove runs, dust nibs and excess orange peel from topcoat finishes before repainting or buffing. 3M™ Hookit™ Purple Finishing Film Discs are easy to remove from backup pads and are faster and easier to use than 3M™ Scuffing Pads with none of the dry time associated with wet sanding.
Recommended backup pads are 3M™ Hookit™ Clean Sanding Painter's Backup Pad 05551 and 3M™ Hookit™ Soft Interface Pad 05777.
